COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Three members of the San Diego State women's basketball team earned All-Mountain West honors, the conference office announced Sunday morning. Adryana Quezada and Abby Prohaska were named to the All-Mountain West Team while Kim Villalobos was an honorable mention selection.

It's the second straight season that two Aztecs made the all-conference team, and one was an honorable mention, prior to last year it had been a decade since three players were honored.

The Aztecs and first place UNLV were the only schools to have three players honored.

In conference play, Quezada (Frisco, Texas) led the Aztecs in scoring (13.1 ppg) and averaged 6.7 rebounds while shooting 49.2% from the floor, which was fourth in the conference. Quezada also shot 86.0% (49-57) from the line, which is tops in the Mountain West in conference play. She topped in double-digits in 13 of SDSU's 18 conference games and had four games with double-digit rebounds. This is Quezada's second Mountain West honor, she was an honorable mention selection with Utah State in the 2021-22 season.

Prohaska (Liberty Township, Ohio) averaged 9.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game in conference play. As a sixth-year senior, she shifted over to point guard for the first time in her career and helped the Aztecs commit just 13.4 turnovers per game, the third fewest in the conference. She also shot 84% from the line on the season, which led the conference.

Villalobos (Los Angeles) led the Aztecs in rebounding (7.2 rpg), steals (1.7 spg) and blocks (0.9 bpg) in conference play and was second in scoring with 11.8 points per game. She was the only player in the Mountain West to be in the top 10 in steals (T-3rd), rebounding (6th) and blocks (9th). She shot 46.5% from the floor in Mountain West games and had a team-high six double-doubles. She had multiple steals in 11 of SDSU's 18 conference games and became the first Aztec post to lead the team in steals in nine years.

Quezada and Villalobos, both seniors, recently announced that they will be returning to SDSU for the 2024-25 season, utilizing their fifth year of eligibility offered by the NCAA due to COVID-19.

The Aztecs begin the Mountain West Tournament Sunday afternoon when they play San Jose State at 4:30 p.m.
