SAN DIEGO – The Aztec women's basketball team hosts New Mexico Wednesday at 11 a.m. for their final Field Trip game of the year.
 
Aztec Tidbits
• SDSU averaged 3,308 fans in their previous two Field Trip games.
• The Aztecs three-game win streak was snapped at Colorado State Saturday.
• SDSU was held to 50 points and the Rams scored 25 points off turnovers, the most the Aztecs have allowed this season.
• The Aztecs are committing just 12.8 turnovers per game, the 17th fewest in the nation.
• SDSU is second in the Mountain West in conference games in defensive rebound percentage (76.2%) despite not having a player taller than 6'.
• SDSU has four players averaging at least 10 points per game: Adryana Quezada (15.0), Abby Prohaska (11.1), Kim Villalobos (10.6) and Jada Lewis (10.0).
• The Aztecs have had eight different players score in double-digits this year.
• SDSU's starting lineup features two sixth year seniors (Barcello and Prohaska), two fifth year seniors (Lewis and Quezada) and a fourth-year senior (Villalobos). This is believed to be the most experienced starting five in the nation.
• In conference play, Villalobos is averaging 11.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.1 blocks per game. Her 7.8 rebounds per game are the fourth most in the conference.
Adryana Quezada is one of six players in the nation to have at least 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 100 assists in their career while averaging at least 14.0 points per game and shooting at least 52% from the field.
 • Quezada is fourth in the Mountain West in field goal percentage (54.7%) and free throw percentage (79.7%).
Abby Prohaska leads the conference and is 26th in the nation with a free throw percentage of 87.7%.
• SDSU's 14 wins are tied for the third most in the conference.
• Over the last two seasons, the Aztecs are 23-7 at home and 19-7 in non-conference games.
• SDSU won at least nine non-conference games for the second season in a row. It's the first time they've done that in back-to-back seasons since 2011-12 and 2012-13.
• SDSU has gone to overtime four times this season, tied for the most in program history. They didn't go to OT once last season.
• All four of SDSU's 2024 recruits were nominated for the McDonald's All-American game: guards Kaelyn Hamilton (McKinney, Texas), Natalia Martinez (San Leandro, Calif.) and Naomi Panganiban (La Jolla, Calif.) and forward Bailey Barnhard (San Diego).
 
Opponent Notebook (New Mexico)
• The Lobos are 16-7 on the year and 7-3 in conference.
• They are in third place in the Mountain West.
• They are 5-2 on the road.
• They are coming off a 62-56 loss to UNLV. Prior to that, they had won six games in a row, including victories over the top two teams in the Mountain West (UNLV and Wyoming).
• They attempt 22.5 threes per game but shoot just 28.8% from beyond the arc.
• They lead the Mountain West with 29.7 defensive rebounds per game.
• Nyah Wilson leads the Lobos with 14.7 points per game.
• Viane Cumber has made 52 three-pointers, the second most in the Mountain West.
• Aniyah Augmon leads the conference with 2.5 steals per game.
• Head coach Mike Bradbury (8th season) has led the Lobos to four 20 win seasons.
• The Lobos lead the all-time series 40-34.
• SDSU has played New Mexico more than any other program (74) and no team has beat SDSU more (40).
• The Aztecs are 16-15 against the Lobos at home.
• They played three times last year with the home team winning each of the regular season meetings and then SDSU beat New Mexico in the Mountain West Tournament quarterfinals 69-68.
 
Player Notes
• In conference play, Kim Villalobos (Los Angeles), is fourth in the Mountain West in rebounding (7.8 rpg) and steals (1.6 spg) and eighthth in blocks (1,1 bpg). She is the only player in the conference in the top eighth in all three categories.
• Villalobos stuffed the stat sheet vs. Westcliff earlier this year and became just the second Aztec in the Mountain West era (1999-present) to have at least 15 points, seven rebounds, six steals and five assists in a game, joining SDSU Hall of Famer Jené Morris.
Adryana Quezada (Frisco, Texas) is shooting a career-high 54.7% from the floor, which is fourth in the MW.
• She has scored in double-digits in all but three games and has led SDSU in scoring 13 times.
• Quezada is shooting 84.8% from the free throw line in conference play, the second best amongst qualified players.
• Against Penn, she became the first Aztec since 2020, and just seventh in the Mountain West era, to have at least 20 points, nine rebounds and five assists in a game. Out of those seven, Quezada accomplished the feat in the fewest number of minutes.
Jada Lewis (Rocklin, Calif.) is 76-for-88 (86.4%) from the free throw line in her career.
• Lewis is averaging 4.3 assists per game over the last three contests.
• Lewis, who played her first four years at Portland State, made her 250th career three-pointer last Saturday. The SDSU record is 249 by Jamey Cox (2000-03).
• Both Lewis and Quezada have over 1,100 career points.
Abby Prohaska (Liberty Township, Ohio) leads the Mountain West and is 26th in the nation in free throw percentage (87.7%) this season. She has shot 85.8% from the line in her career (151-176) and 87.6% (104-121) while at SDSU.
• Prohaska is averaging career-highs in minutes, points, rebounds, assists, free throw percentage and three-point percentage.
Sarah Barcello (Phoenix, Ariz.) is leading the team in minutes (33.7) in conference play.
• Barcello is averaging career-highs in minutes per game (31.4) and field goal percentage (.4486 and her three-point percentage of 35.2% is her best since her freshman year at Marist (41% in 2018-19).
Mia Davis (Phoenix, Ariz.) is shooting 47.8% from three in conference play.
• Against Utah State, Davis became just the second Aztec freshman in the Mountain West era (1999-2024) to make five or more threes in a half.
• Freshman Alyssa Jackson (Fairfield, Calif.) is shooting 54.5% from three in conference play (6-11).
Jazlen Green (Upland, Calif.) joined the Aztecs after the semester break. She averaged 9.1 points and made 97 threes in 51 games at Cal.
