SAN DIEGO – Leveraging a pair of wins last week against two teams projected to make the 2024 NCAA Tournament, Colorado State and New Mexico, the San Diego State men's basketball team returned to both the Associated Press and Coaches Poll's top 25 on Monday slotting in at No. 19 in both organization's rankings. SDSU totaled 374 points in the AP poll and 185 in the Coaches poll and is one of two Mountain West programs to be ranked this week.
Its appearance in this week's AP poll marks the 106th week since the start of the 2010-11 season San Diego State has been nationally ranked, more than any other program in the state of California in that time frame.
San Diego State is ranked No. 19 for the seventh time in school history. SDSU has appeared in every position in the poll between No. 4 and No. 25, except for No. 12.
Today's poll ranking, released on Feb. 19, marks the seventh time SDSU has appeared in the AP Top 25 on this date.

San Diego State puts its No.19 rankings on the line tomorrow evening, Tuesday, Feb. 20, in a bottle for first place in the conference, at Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in Logan, Utah against Utah State. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT/6 p.m. PT and the game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
