SAN DIEGO - Head coach Kylee White has released SDSU's 2024 schedule. The 16-match slate features nine home contests and four matches against teams that made the NCAA Tournament in 2023.

SDSU's non-conference schedule is highlighted by matches against two conference champions from last season: Denver and Florida.

"We try to balance out our schedule. When facing opponents from all over the country, especially top programs like Dartmouth or Florida, we're able to measure where we're at and where we're going," Coach White explained. "We're excited to finally be in the PAC-12 conference. Although we've played these teams before, it has a different meaning when there's a potential championship at the end of the season. While our ultimate goal is the tournament, our sights are set on right now. Things will take care of themselves when we take care of the little things."

The Aztecs begin the season with an exhibition against Pomona Pitzer (DIII) on Feb. 3. The Sagehens made it to the Elite 8 of the NCAA DIII Tournament in 2023.

The following weekend they are on the road to face Lindenwood and then a neutral site game against Xavier at Arizona State. The Lions were 8-10 in 2023, losing in the first round of the ASUN conference tournament. One of those losses came at SDSU as the two faced each other for the first time and the Aztecs came out on top, 15-9. The Aztecs and the Musketeers will face each other for the first time on February 11th.

The Aztecs' home opener will be on February 17th as they welcome UC Davis back to the Aztec Lacrosse Field. The Aggies, as well as the Aztecs are the two newest additions to PAC-12 women's lacrosse but have faced one another every year back to 2012 with SDSU taking six of the 15 matches.

After this, SDSU heads on a quick trip to Denver (Feb. 25). The Aztecs have not yet defeated the Pioneers, who have been ranked this season at a program high 4th in the USA-Lacrosse Top 20 Preseason Poll and went to the Semifinals in the 2023 NCAA Championship Tournament.

Then the Aztecs' are North Carolina bound, facing Campbell (Mar. 1), and High Point (Mar. 3). This will be the first time the Aztecs take on Campbell since 2015 and the second time they go against High Point after facing the Panthers for the first time in 2023. SDSU is 1-0 against both teams.

Back at the Mesa, the Aztecs have four home games in a row, starting with Florida (Mar. 8) and Liberty (Mar. 11). The Gators' were ranked 12th in the pre-season poll after losing to Notre Dame in the second round of the 2023 NCAA Championship Tournament. SDSU has faced Florida once back in 2015 and did not come out with the win. As the No. 1 seed in the ASUN Conference, the Flames fell in overtime in the 2023 championship game to Jacksonville. The Aztecs are 2-0 against Liberty, last seeing the Flames in 2018.

As the last non-conference game, SDSU takes on Dartmouth at home (Mar. 15). The two have never faced, but the Big Green had three freshmen named to the Inside Lacrosse Women's Power 100 Freshman Rankings.

To start off the Pac-12 schedule, the Aztecs face Arizona State (Mar. 17). SDSU has gone 3-4 against the Sun Devils, breaking a three-game losing streak with a 15-12 win in 2023.

On the road again, the Aztecs head up to UC Davis (Mar. 23) and then to Colorado (Mar. 30). The Aztecs are 0-9 when playing the Buffaloes, who lost in the final game of the Pac-12 championship in 2023. The game at Colorado will be featured on Pac-12 Network.

Back with home-field advantage, Stanford (Apr. 6) and Oregon (Apr. 13) get to travel to Aztec Lacrosse Field. The Cardinal are undefeated against the Aztecs in their eight meetings, but the two have not met since 2020. Stanford won the Pac-12 tournament back in 2022. Against the Ducks, the Aztecs are 7-3 with a four game winning streak.

Traveling up to Berkley, the Aztecs will battle California (Apr. 20), whom they have an eight game winning streak against. This game will be featured on Pac-12 Network.

In their last regular season game, SDSU hosts the 2023 Pac-12 Champions in USC (Apr. 27) for senior night. The Trojans fell to Denver in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

The Pac-12 Championship Tournament will be played May 1-4, hosted by USC at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and will be aired on the Pac-12 network.

All matches at the Aztec Lacrosse Field are free.
