SAN DIEGO -- San Diego State Athletics and JMI Sports announced a 10-year multimedia partnership. SDSU and JMI Sports will work together to increase brand exposure and sponsorship revenue opportunities.

"We are excited to continue our longtime partnership with JMI Sports," said San Diego State Director of Athletics John David Wicker. "We've been impressed with their ability to cultivate relationships with a variety of diverse brands and our dedicated fan base. We look forward to cultivating a relationship that will elevate San Diego State into the national spotlight with the future opportunities our institution has ahead."

The agreement, which runs through June 30, 2031, makes JMI Sports the official corporate and multimedia rights partner for San Diego State Athletics. JMI Sports has been a partner of San Diego State Athletics since May 2014 when the company came on board as the construction manager for the Jeff Jacobs JAM Center, San Diego State's state-of-the-art basketball practice facility.  JMI Sports served in a number of consulting roles in relation to the development of Snapdragon Stadium including a partnership with Legends overseeing construction management, ticketing, premium sales, naming rights and founding partnerships. JMI will continue to work with San Diego State Athletics to develop valuable relationships with sponsors and generate new revenues to support San Diego State Athletics while enhancing the student-athlete and fan experience.

"JMI Sports has been a great partner for this institution and we're excited to expand that relationship going forward," said San Diego State Executive Associate Athletic Director, Mission Valley Development Derek Grice. "They've always worked hard to put San Diego State in the best possible position and we believe that the unique structure of this agreement will allow for new and innovative opportunities to generate revenue that will support the growth and future of SDSU Athletics."

JMI Sports is one of the leading media rights and venue development companies, providing management in multimedia rights, sponsorship sales and facility development. Some of JMIS's other clients include Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Georgia (with Learfield), Notre Dame (with Legends) and various conferences.
