SAN DIEGO – Due to impending rain in the Bay Area this weekend, San Diego State's upcoming Mountain West series against San José State has been shifted from Excite Ballpark in San Jose to Tony Gwynn Stadium on the SDSU campus.

On Friday, March 10, the Aztecs will play host to the Spartans in a doubleheader, beginning at 11 a.m. PT, before the teams square off in a single contest on Saturday, March 11, starting at 3 p.m.

Admission for all three games is free.

SDSU (4-7, 2-1 MW) enters the weekend one-half game behind SJSU (5-5, 2-0 MW) in the Mountain West standings. The Aztecs lead the all-time series 84-39, dating back to 1938. SDSU is 46-16 against the Spartans in San Diego.

The teams are slated to meet in San Jose later in the season, May 5-7.

Following this weekend's set, San Diego State will step out of conference for a four-game series against Connecticut, March 16-19, at Tony Gwynn Stadium.
