WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Aztec women's basketball team (9-4) pushed their win streak to five games with a convincing 75-48 win over Florida Atlantic in the West Palm Beach Classic Thursday.
SDSU had 19 assists and just seven turnovers and shot 49 percent from the field while holding the Owls to a 30 percent clip.
"We followed the defensive game plan," Head coach Stacie Terry-Hutson said after the game. "We were mentally locked in for both games here and I was proud of our effort."
Statistically there were contributions up and down the roster. Meghan Fiso led SDSU in scoring with 13 points on 5-for-6 shooting, Adryana Quezada had 12 points, Kim Villalobos had 11 and a career-high eight assists and

"Mia hasn't played a lot of basketball the past couple years and she worked really hard to get back," Terry-Hutson praised. "She can really play and looked good out there today."
