COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Adryana Quezada was named the Mountain West Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday morning. Quezada helped SDSU win at Seattle last Monday, scoring 20 points and bringing down eight rebounds.

Quezada (Frisco, Texas) was 8-for-12 from the field and scored 18 of her 20 points in the first half. Quezada, a Utah State transfer who redshirted at SDSU last season, is shooting a career-high 58.2% from the floor, which leads the Mountain West.

She has scored in double-digits in all but one game for the Aztecs and currently has 994 career points.

This is Quezada's second time winning the Mountain West's weekly award. She last won it Feb. 14, 2022 when playing at Utah State.

The Aztecs are heading to Florida this week to play in the West Palm Beach Classic where they'll face Kennesaw State Wednesday and Florida Atlantic Thursday. SDSU is 7-4 on the year and has won seven of their last nine games.
