HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – The Aztec women's golf team wrapped up the Ron Moore Intercollegiate Sunday at the University of Denver Golf Course. SDSU was led by Stephanie Barbaglia, who shot her second straight under-par round and finished with a career-low 217 (+1).
The Aztecs had their best 18-hole and 54-hole score of the season.
Barbaglia's day was highlighted by an eagle on the par five second hole. She chipped in her third shot from 84 yards out. She finished her day with an eagle and three birdies.
Anna Lina Otten continued her steady play. After shooting a 74 in each of the first two rounds, she shot a 73 Sunday to finish with a 221 (+5).
Emma Narita, who led the Aztecs in their first two tournaments, shot a 75 Sunday and finished one stroke behind Otten with a 222 (+6).
Andrea Gomez tied her best round of the tournament with a 75, matching her first round score.
Anika Sato finished the day with a 79.
Cal won the team championship with an 843 (-21), while Kansas Jordan Rothman took home the individual championship with an 11-under-par 205.
