BOULDER CITY, Nev. – The Aztec women's golf team is in seventh place (out of 19 teams) through two rounds at The Clash at Boulder Creek after shooting a season-best 282 in their second round.

All four Aztec scorers shot an even par or better, and three of them tied their career-low 18-hole score. led by Anika Sato's three-under-par 69.

Sato's 69 came after she shot five birdies, including four in a five-hole stretch on holes 5-9. She only had one hole where she didn't birdie or par, the 14th where she had a double bogey.

Emma Narita leads the Aztecs through 36 holes and is tied for 13th overall with a two-under-par 142. On Monday, she was bogey-free with two birdies to finish with a 70.

Andrea Gomez also finished under par Monday with a one-under 71, aided by four birdies.

Sato, Narita and Gomez all tied their career-best 18-hole score.

Stephanie Barbaglia finished with an even par 72.

Anna Lina Otten matched her score from Sunday, shooting a 76 for the second consecutive day.

Long Beach State sits in first place with a commanding 18 stroke lead. San Francisco's Riana Mission is the clubhouse leader with an eight-under-par 136.
