SAN DIEGO – On Saturday, the San Diego State men's tennis team's Chikaya Sato and Alexander Mandma continued play in the San Diego Veterans Tennis Classic at the Hogan Tennis Center on the campus of the University of San Diego. Today, the Aztecs went up against players from Boise State on the second day of the three-day event.

Mandma drew Kyvan Rietkerk. In a hard fought first set that went to a tiebreaker, Mandma ended up on top 7-6 (10). After dropping the second 6-1, Mandma refused to give up and took the third set 6-3 for the victory.

In doubles, the pair faced Liam Toroman and Rietkerk. The Aztecs coasted to a 6-2 win.

After winning yesterday, Sato battled Jip van Assendelft. Sato was bested 6-2 in the first set but came back in the second with a 6-0 shutout. He fell, however, in the third set 6-1.
