SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State men's tennis team will continue its 2023 fall slate this weekend in the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Scarlet and Black will be represented by Alexander Mandma, Robin Parts and Chikaya Sato. The event starts on Saturday, September 30 and goes through Thursday, October 5.

One of two Aztecs to play in every dual match along with Sato, Mandma totaled double digit singles wins including winning records in tournament and conference matches last season. Mandma will face Memphis' Sam Reeve in the Round of 256.

Parts will be making his SDSU debut after transferring in from Wisconsin. He tallied a combined record of 37-18 in doubles play over his final two years with the Badgers. Parts will begin his Aztec career against South Carolina's Jelani Sarr.

A mainstay in the second spot in the Aztec lineup last season, Sato played at an All-Mountain West caliber in both singles and doubles. He was one of just two SDSU players to compete in every dual match. Sato will battle Tennessee-Chattanooga's Gabriel Castillo-Sanchez in the opening round.
