UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – The Aztec women's golf team finished the first day of the Leadership and Golf Invitational at Chambers Bay. SDSU is in 13th place through 36 holes and is led by freshman Emma Narita, who is tied for 11th overall with a one-under par 143.

Narita's day was highlighted by a first-round hole-in-one on the 168-yard 17th hole with her seven iron. That along with a pair of birdies and just two bogeys allowed her to shoot a two-under-par 70 in her first round. She stayed steady in the second round and shot a 73.

Anna Lina Otten finished the day nine-over-par after shooting a 75 and 78.

Stephanie Barbaglia shot an even-par 72 in the first round, before shooting an 82 in her second 18.

Andrea Gomez sits one stroke behind Barbaglia. She had a 75 followed by an 80.

Anika Sato shot a 77 in the first round, but then was forced to withdraw in the second round due to a lingering injury.
