ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Aztec women's golf team wrapped up the first two rounds of the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational at the University of New Mexico Championship Course Monday. Through 36 holes, the Aztecs are in 14th place and are led by Stephanie Barbaglia.
Barbaglia, who was making her first career collegiate start, opened with a 77 and then rebounded to shoot an even par 72 in the second round.
Otten shot a 76 in both rounds and finished with 25 pars, which tied for the third-most in the tournament.
Andrea Gomez and Emma Narita both shot a 74 in the first round. Gomez then followed up with a 76 in the second round, while Narita, who was making her college debut, shot an 80.
Sato tied for seventh in the first round after shooting a one-under-par 71. She bogeyed her opening hole and then was two-under over her next 17 holes. Sato then shot an 81 in the second round.

Anna Lina Otten and Emma Narita both finished with 25 pars, which tied for the third most.
