SAN DIEGO – Austin Brummett of the San Diego State men's soccer team was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday afternoon. Brummett tallied six points (two goals and two assists) on the week to help the Aztecs beat George Washington (3-0) and UC Riverside (2-0).

Brummett (Bow, N.H.) was also named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week.

In his first start of the season, Brummett was involved in all three of SDSU's goals against George Washington Friday. He scored the game-winning goal in the third minute and then had assists in the 59th and 74th minute.

Against UC Riverside, Brummett put the match out of reach when he scored in the 83rd minute.

Brummett has recorded a point in each of the last four matches, totaling nine points in that span. His team-high nine points have come while averaging just 58 minutes a match.

The undefeated Aztecs (4-0-1) have won four matches in a row and are one of two teams in the nation that haven't conceded a goal yet this season.

SDSU is off next week and then will host Life Pacific on Monday at 7 p.m.
