HOUSTON – The San Diego State men's basketball team had its first full day on site at the Final Four in Houston on Thursday. SDSU student-athletes had the opportunity to see their locker room, shoot content with the CBS broadcast team in advance of Saturday's game against No. 9 Florida Atlantic, held practice, and finished off the day with their first press conference of the trip.

To begin the day the Aztecs were had their first view of the Final Four venue, held at the home of the Houston Texans, NRG Stadium. After being carted around the facility to the locker room, the team grabbed some swag, including custom fitted cowboy hats and jean jackets, in addition to gaining access to the gift suite.

Upon concluding their media day obligations with the CBS production crew, the Aztecs held their first practice on the court, getting the lay of the land and adapting to shooting inside a football stadium. To wrap up the day SDSU had student-athletes face the media for their first press conference of the trip before heading back to the team hotel.
 
After defeating Alabama, the top-seeded team in the tournament in the Sweet 16, and No. 6-seed Creighton in the Elite 8, San Diego State, the 5-seed and South Region Champion, will face 9-seed Florida Atlantic, the East Region Champions, in the first national semifinal game Saturday at NRG Stadium in Houston.
