SAN DIEGO – Three former Aztecs played in the NBA while another trio competed on the PGA Tour.
 
 Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (2010-11) started in all four of his team's contests. He averaged 21.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 0.3 blocks over the week. This season he is putting up 23.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.5 blocks per game. 
 
Forward Jalen McDaniels (2017-19) played in two games for Philadelphia. On the week, he combined for 14 points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block. His season numbers are 9.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.0 steal and 0.4 blocks per game. 
 
Guard Malachi Flynn (2020) appeared in all three games this week for Toronto. Over those three games, he averaged 4.3 points, 1.0 rebound, 0.3 steals and 0.3 blocks. On the season, he is averaging 4.5 points, 1.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.4 steals and 0.1 blocks. 
 
On the PGA Tour, Xander Schauffele (2013-15) defeated J.J. Spaun (2009-12) 3 & 2 in the Round of 16 of the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play but fell to Rory McIlroy in the Quarterfinals. Meanwhile, Scott Piercy (1999-2001) tied for 29th in the Corales Puntacana Championship at seven-under-par. Schauffele is ranked seventh in the world and 34th in the FedEx Cup and has won seven PGA Tour events in his career. Spaun ranks 69th in the world and 48th in the FedEx Cup with one career PGA Tour victory. Piercy has four career PGA Tour wins. Next weekend, Spaun and Piercy will compete in the Valero Texas Open in San Antonio, March 30-April 2.
