SAN DIEGO – The Aztec track and field team returns home this Thursday-Saturday to host the 44th Annual Aztec Invitational. The meet will be streamed on RunnerSpace +, which is a subscription-based service. Fans can also attend the meet for $5, students are free.
The meet starts on Thursday with the first day of the heptathlon, with the second day of the event concluding on Friday along with the hammer throw. The Main Invitational will begin on Saturday, March 25.
The Aztecs will host 800 athletes with over 1250 entries from over 25 universities and groups.
The following universities will be represented throughout the weekend –
Air Force Academy, Alaska Anchorage, Arizona State, Azusa Pacific, Boise State, Brigham Young, Cal Poly Humboldt, CS San Bernardino, CS San Marcos, Carleton College, Fresno State, Iowa State, Long Beach State, Nevada Reno, Northeastern, Oregon, Palomar College, Riverside College, San Jose State, San Diego State, South Dakota, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, UNLV, USC, Utah, Washington, Western Oregon, Western Washington, Paralympians and Adapted Athletes.
