Albuquerque, N.M. – The Aztecs wrapped up weekend competition at the 2023 NCAA Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center on Saturday.
 
Previously on Friday, Jenna Fee Feyerabend represented SDSU and competed in the pentathlon, placing ninth in the nation. Feyerabend previously held the record for best performance in school history and broke her own record with a score of 4,263 points.
 
On Saturday, competition continued as Simone Johnson represented the Aztecs in the Triple Jump. Johnson qualified for NCAAs after earning a second place finish at the Mountain West Indoor Championships. Her previous jump of 44-00.75 (13.43m) also earned her a new personal best.
 
Johnson jumped 43-8¾ at the championships, earning her a 15th place in the nation.
 
UP NEXT
The Aztecs will stay local and compete at the Point Loma Invitational on Saturday, March 18 in San Diego, Calif, their second meet of the outdoor season.
