Spokane, Wash. – The Aztec track and field team competed for the final day at the WSU Open and Combined Events meet at The Podium in Spokane, Washington.

Shaquena Foote won the 400-meter dash in a time of 54.37 seconds, the seventh-best indoor time in school history.

The Aztecs were also represented in the 400 by Sydney Bentley, who was eighth at 56.45 and Rhea Hoyte in 10th at 56.64.
 
In the 60m, Shaquena Foote logged a third place finish with a time of 7.47, tying for the 10th best indoor time. Jada Moore followed in 7.62 seconds, notching a seventh place finish.

Danae Dyer came in second in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.25 seconds while Charlize James finished fourth in 8.56.
 
Ashley Callahan and Corey Friedenbach represented the Aztecs in the pole vault and finished in third and seventh respectively with jumps of 12-10.00 (3.91m) and 12-4.00 (3.76m).
 
In shot put, Felicia Crenshaw placed eleventh with a toss of 44-06.25 (13.57m).

The Aztecs will return to San Diego to prepare for the upcoming UNM Don Kirby Invitational in Albuquerque, New Mexico from Feb 10-11.
