SAN DIEGO – After handing Boise State it second worst beating to any Mountain West team since it joined the conference, 72-52 last Saturday, and in sole possession of first place in the league, the San Diego State men's basketball team slots into the Associated Press Top 25 Poll at No. 25 and the USA Today Coaches Poll at No. 23 this week. The Aztecs totaled 96 points in the AP poll, garnered 68 in the Coaches poll, and is the only Mountain West program to be ranked in either.
With its appearance in this week's AP poll, San Diego State is ranked for the 96th week since the start of the 2010-11 season, more than any other program in the state of California in that time frame.
