SAN DIEGO – Winners of 10 of its last 11 games and boasting an 8-1 start to Mountain West play and in first place, the San Diego State men's basketball team returned to the Associated Press Top 25 poll slotting in at No. 22. The Aztecs totaled 170 points in the AP poll and is the only Mountain West program to be ranked.
With its appearance in this week's AP poll, San Diego State is ranked for the 95th week since the start of the 2010-11 season, more than any other program in the state of California in that time frame.
San Diego State is ranked No. 22 for the sixth time in school history and third time this season. SDSU has appeared in every position in the AP poll between No. 4 and No. 25, except for No. 12.
Today's ranking, released on January 30, marks the second time SDSU has appeared in the AP Top 25 on this date.

San Diego State puts its No. 22 ranking on the line tomorrow evening, Tuesday, January 31, against the Nevada Wolf Pack at Lawlor Event Center in Reno, Nev. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. PT and the game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
