SAN DIEGO – The Aztecs host New Mexico (10-8, 2-3 MW) Thursday at 11 a.m. for their Field Trip game. Over 3,000 local elementary students are expected to be in attendance.

• SDSU's 14-5 start is the Aztecs' best since the 2011-12 season.
• The Aztecs split a pair of games over the three-day weekend, beating Boise State 55-42 Saturday before losing at Colorado State 71-58 Monday.
• 11 of SDSU's 14 wins have been by double-digits and six have been by at least 20 points.
• The Aztecs have held their opponent under 50 points seven times and under 40 percent shooting from the field 12 times.
• Defensively, the Aztecs are first in the Mountain West in points allowed (55.1) and field goal percentage defense (36.8%), and second in turnovers forced per game (19.8) and steals per game (10.6). SDSU's 55.1 points allowed per game is 19th in the country.

• Abby Prohaska is averaging 2.5 steals per game in MW play, the second most in the conference.
• Six Aztecs had at least a 3.50 GPA in the 2022 fall semester, including Sarah Barcello and Sophia Ramos who each had perfect 4.0s in their Master of Education program.
• Including SDSU, five Mountain West teams are in the top 125 of the NET. The Aztecs are amid a stretch of playing each of the other four in a six-game span.
• SDSU has had fewer turnovers than their opponent in 15 of their 19 games.
