SAN DIEGO – The Aztec women's basketball team hosts Boise State Saturday at noon and then plays at Colorado State Monday evening.
 
Aztec Tidbits
• SDSU was scheduled to play the Broncos in Boise on Dec. 29, but the game was postponed due to national travel issues. That game has since been rescheduled for Jan. 30.
• SDSU's 13-4 start is the Aztecs' best since the 2008-09 season.
• The Aztecs won at Fresno State 49-43 Wednesday night.
• This was SDSU's sixth time holding an opponent under 50 points this season and their 11th time holding their opponent under 40% shooting from the field.
• Yummy Morris led the Aztecs with 14 points. Morris has scored in double-digits in all of SDSU's Mountain West games while shooting 77.3% from the floor.
• 10 of SDSU's 12 wins have been by double-digits and six have been by at least 20 points.
• Defensively, the Aztecs are first in the Mountain West in points allowed (54.9) and field goal percentage defense (36.3%), and second in turnovers forced per game (20.4) and steals per game (10.9).
• On offense, the Aztecs are second in the conference in three-point percentage (.351) and turnover margin (+5.3) and third in field goal percentage (.441).
• The Aztecs have held their opponents under 40 percent shooting 11 times.

• Sophia Ramos (San Antonio, Texas) is the only player in the nation with at least 1,700 points, 600 rebounds and 450 assists in her career.

• Mercedes Staples (Centerville, Utah) is shooting 47.2 percent from three on the year and 39.8 percent in her SDSU career, the best in program history. She leads the Mountain West in three-point percentage (.472).
• Six Aztecs had at least a 3.50 GPA in the 2022 fall semester, including Sarah Barcello and Sophia Ramos who each had perfect 4.0s in their Master's of education program.
 
Opponent Notebook (Boise State)
• The Broncos are 7-9 on the year
• They are 2-4 away from Boise.
• Elodie Lalotte and Abby Muse each average double-digit points.
• They lead the Mountain West in rebounds (42.3) and blocks per game (5.2).
