SAN DIEGO – Three members of the Aztec men's soccer team were named to the United Soccer Coaches Far West All-Region Teams. CJ Fodrey was named to the Second Team while Blake Bowen and Jacob Castro were third team selections. This is the first time since 2016 that SDSU has had three or more all-region selections.

Fodrey (San Diego) is the first Aztec freshman to make the All-Region Team since Pablo Pelaez in 2016. Fodrey, the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, had a team-high 18 points, the most by a SDSU freshman since at least 2000. He finished the year with seven goals, two of which were game-winners, and four assists.

Bowen (San Clemente, Calif.) was the only Aztec to start all 18 matches and his three goals in Pac-12 play tied for the team lead. He was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team last month.
third time being recognized after being an honorable mention selection each of the past two years.

Castro (Spanaway, Wash.), one of SDSU's team captains, was the only goalkeeper named to the Pac-12 first or second team. He is the first Aztec netminder to make the Pac-12 first or second team in back-to-back years since All-American Tally Hall in 2005 and 2006.
