SAN DIEGO – As part of its efforts to provide a comprehensive name, image and likeness program for Aztec student-athletes, the San Diego State athletics department announced the launch of the SDSU NIL Store and SDSU NIL Marketplace.

The SDSU NIL Store, powered by Campus Ink, will host a complete NIL merchandise store for Aztec student-athletes, featuring jerseys and officially licensed apparel.

"We are thrilled to partner with SDSU athletics and provide an NIL merchandising solution for all Aztec student-athletes," said Steven Farag, co-founder and CEO of Campus Ink. "San Diego State has shown an incredible commitment to providing a multitude of resources to its student-athletes in the NIL space and we are excited to assist in fulfilling that mission."

Every SDSU student-athlete that signed up will have a personalized digital locker room which houses their merchandise.

"It is an exciting time to be a student-athlete at San Diego State and this is another positive step in our institution's support of our student-athletes," said John David Wicker, SDSU Director of Athletics. "This partnership with Campus Ink will help our student-athletes monetize their name, image and likeness, and gives our fans a chance to embrace this exciting merchandising opportunity."

The Campus Ink team handles all the creative, product creation, design, marketing, fulfillment and customer service for its student-athletes. Their team also works directly with student-athletes to educate them on merchandising, marketing and sales trends to develop strategies for optimal success.

Additionally, San Diego State's partnership with Opendorse is expanding with the launch of the SDSU NIL Marketplace. The Opendorse-powered platform will seamlessly connect fans with their favorite San Diego State student-athletes.

Aztec fans, brands, sponsors and donors can browse, book, pitch and pay any Aztec student-athlete for NIL activities in one compliant platform. Opendorse maximizes NIL opportunities for athletes, while delivering security and simplicity for all involved parties.

"Today's announcement of the San Diego State marketplace reaffirms the commitment that SDSU athletics has to supporting student-athletes on and off the field of play," said Opendorse CEO Blake Lawrence. "Today's launch is the next step to maximizing opportunities for every athlete. Now, any fan or brand can confidently offer compliant NIL deals to their favorite Aztecs in just seconds."

All current Aztec student-athletes can be found in the SDSU NIL Marketplace. Opendorse has facilitated hundreds of thousands of NIL deals and endorsements with athletes at every level of sport. The marketplace is used by over 95,000 athletes to manage deals from pitch to payment every day.
