NAPA, Calif. – On Sunday, the San Diego State men's tennis team played two singles and two doubles matches in the final day of the Silverado Invitational at the Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, Calif., and came away with three wins in four matches.

Junior Bora Sengul and sophomore Alexander Mandma won their singles matches, both over players from California, and just like Saturday, by the same score as each other. The pair led the Aztecs with three wins each, as SDSU went 9-0 in singles over three days. Mandma partnered with Mathieu Josserand for an additional win in doubles.

Mandma played Alex Chang, battling to a 6-3, 6-4 victory to improve his singles record to 3-0 on the season.

Like Mandma, Sengul's match versus John Kim ended in a 6-3, 6-4 win for the Scarlet and Black.

After consecutive doubles wins with Sengul, Mandma paired up with sophomore Mathieu Josserand to face UNLV's Milos Dabic and Aaron Bailey, the latter of whom Mandma defeated in singles on Saturday. The pair defeated the UNLV duo 8-4.

Sengul teamed up with junior Andre Saleh, the Nebraska transfer, to face another pair of Rebels, Thomas Navarro and Eduardo Cohen. Sengul and Saleh sent the set to a tiebreaker, but fell, 8-7 (5).
