SAN DIEGO – San Diego State cross country has revealed their 2022 schedule. After a strong finish to the 2021 campaign, the Aztecs will take part in eight meets during the 2022 season.
Five of the eight races on the calendar will take place in the greater southern California area, while the Aztecs will travel as far east as South Bend, Indiana for the Joe Paine - Notre Dame Invitational.
SDSU kicks off their season September 1 at the UC Irvine Invitational.
The Aztecs next meet will be the Riverside Invitational at UC Riverside on September 17.
SDSU's next two races will be local, first at the Cougar Challenge at Cal State San Marcos on September 24, then at the SD Mesa College Invitational on September 30. The Aztecs will also travel to the Joe Paine – Notre Dame Invitational held at Notre Dame on September 30. The last regular season competition will be on October 15 when the Aztecs travel back to Riverside for the Highlander Invitational.
The Mountain West Championships will be October 28 and hosted by Wyoming.
Two weeks later, the NCAA West Regionals will be in Seattle, Washington at the Chambers Bay Golf Club.
