SAN DIEGO – San Diego State had 102 student-athletes earn Academic All-Mountain West designation for the spring semester, the Mountain West Conference office announced from Colorado Springs, Colorado on Monday afternoon.
To be eligible for 2022 Spring Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. Additionally, student-athletes must have competed in 50 percent of the team's completed varsity contest.
With 29 student-athlete honorees, women's track and field earned the most awards among Aztecs who competed in the winter and spring semesters. Swimming and Diving was second with 23 and softball was third with 18 awards.
