In the NBA, guard Malachi Flynn (2020) appeared in Toronto's Monday night victory over Charlotte, but did not record any stats in his minute on the floor. On the season, he is averaging 3.0 points, 1.0 rebound, 1.0 assist, 0.4 steals, and 0.1 blocks. Charlotte forward Jalen McDaniels (2018-19) missed the week with an ankle injury. So far this season, he is averaging 6.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.4 blocks per game. Forward Kawhi Leonard (2010-11) is on the Los Angeles Clippers, but is sitting out while recovering from a torn ACL suffered during last season's playoffs.
On the PGA Tour, J.J. Spaun (2009-12) tied for 16th at 10-under-par in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, while Scott Piercy (1999-2001) missed the cut.
