SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State swimming and diving team got individual race wins from six athletes and cruised to its 35th consecutive dual meet victory by a score of 134-119 over the University of the Incarnate Word on Tuesday morning at the Aztecs Aquaplex.
 
Reigning Mountain West Swimmer of the Week, Sammy Geyer won two individual races, was part of the meet's opening win in the 200 Medley Relay and closed the event as part of the 200 Free Relay team that recorded the event's fastest time.
 
Kristina Murphy and Wilma Johansson were also multiple race winners while Alex Roberts, Riley Tapley and Mia Ryan won individual races.
 
In the first race of the day, the team of Tapley, Geyer, Roberts and Ryan were the winners in a time of 1:43.88. Mai McKenna, Jessie McMurray, Lizzie Menzmer and Cassie Phillips stopped the clock in 1:49.48 and in second place.
 
Ryan Dulaney was the lone Aztec to compete in the 1000 Free and finished in second in 10:45.16.
 
Murphy won the 200 Free in 1:53.70 and was followed by Emily Gebhardt in third (1:58.78) and Ashlyn Hemphill (1:59.65) in fourth.
 
San Diego State took the first two spots in the 100 Back with Roberts taking the win and stopping the clock in 57.60 and McKenna taking second with a time of 1:00.02.
 
Geyer earned her first individual win of the day in the 100 Breaststroke, finishing in 1:05.04. McMurray was third and touched in a time of 1:07.79.
 
Johansson had the winning time in the 200 Fly, a 2:05.58 while Tapley was second in 2:06.39.
 
In the 50 Free, Ryan had the fastest time, a 23.92, while Menzmer was second with a time of 24.92.
 
Geyer's second win of the day came in the 100 Free. She came home in 53.20 and Gebhardt was second in 53.61.
 
In the 200 Back, San Diego State swimmers finished in three of the first four spots. Tapley was the winner in 2:05.19. Roberts was second in 2:05.52 and McKenna came home in 2:15.18 and fourth place.
 
Murphy's second individual win came in the 200 Breaststroke where she recorded a 2:19.19 and McMurray was third in a time of 2:32.51.
 
In the 500 Free, Johansson was the first to stop the clock. She posted a 5:09.45 while Dulaney was fourth (5:14.64) and Hemphill was sixth (5:37.75).
 
In the final three races of the meet, the Aztecs' times were scored as exhibitions.
 
In the 100 Fly, Ryan had the fastest time with a 57.80 and Gebhardt was the second quickest with a 59.10.
 
Johansson stopped the clock in 2:08.29 in the 200 IM, the contest's best time, and Roberts was second in a 2:11.11.
 
The final race of the day, the 200 Free Relay, saw the Aztec team of Gebhardt, Ryan, Murphy and Geyer record a time of 1:36.71, the fastest on the day, and the squad of Dulaney, McMurray, Hemphill and Tapley finished in 1:40.76, the third quickest time in the event.
