SAN DIEGO – Due to COVID-19-related concerns within the Nevada men's basketball program, the game between the Aztecs and Wolf Pack, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 8 in San Diego, has been postponed. If the game cannot be rescheduled, it will be declared a no contest.

In Nevada's place, the Aztecs will host No. 19 Colorado State, which came available after its opponent on Friday, Jan. 7, Boise State, had to postpone that game due to COVID-19 concerns in the Broncos program.

The Aztecs game against Colorado State will be on Saturday, Jan. 8 at 1 p.m., at Steve Fisher Court at Viejas Arena and the game will be broadcast on CBS.

The Rams are the last team to defeat San Diego State on its home floor, a 70-67 decision on Jan. 2, 2021, a stretch of 15 consecutive home games and nine consecutive Mountain West home games.

San Diego State leads the all-time series against Colorado State, 46-42, but in the last 37 games against the Rams, SDSU has posted a 29-8 record. In home games, since the start of the 1999-00 season, the Aztecs have a 18-4 record against CSU.

SDSU has played a ranked Colorado State team one time. The game was played on Feb. 13, 2013, in Fort Collins, Colo., and resulted in a 66-60 victory for the No. 24 Rams.
