FRISCO, Texas The San Diego State football team completed its first day of activities in conjunction with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl in Frisco, Texas, on Friday.

After departing San Diego on a pair of chartered planes in late morning, the Aztecs arrived at Love Field in Dallas shortly before 5 p.m. CT and were greeted in the Lone Star State by gusty winds, a blanket of overcast skies and warm temperatures holding steady in the mid-70s.

The Scarlet and Black soon boarded a convoy of busses for the short ride through the Metroplex to the OMNI Frisco Hotel, where the team will be stationed for the next five days.

After procuring luggage and checking into their rooms, the Aztecs ventured to The Colony, Texas, for an evening of tacos and team camaraderie at the Top Golf complex, which features heated hitting terraces while catering to golfers of all skill levels.

SDSU will get down to business on Saturday when it will conduct its first practice of the week at the nearby Toyota Stadium practice fields between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. CT.

Temperatures were expected to drop some 25 degrees into the low 50s on Saturday after a forecasted round of overnight thunderstorms.

Following tomorrow's preparations and a barbeque at Toyota Stadium, the Aztecs are scheduled to attend a showing of the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home at the Galaxy Theatres Grandscape complex in the early evening at The Colony, Texas.
