SAN DIEGO -- It was a huge week for Rashaad Penny (2014-17) in the NFL and Malachi Flynn (2020) closed out the week with a big game against Sacramento in the NBA.

In the NFL, running back Rashaad Penny rushed 16 times for 137 yards (8.6 avg.) and two touchdowns in a dominant win over Houston. He also caught his lone target for one yard. On his first touchdown, Penny cut to the right, burst into space, and gave safety Justin Reid a stiff arm on his way to the end zone to give Seattle a 10-7 lead with a 32-yard run. Late in the game, he broke through the line of scrimmage and was off to the races to put the game on ice for Seattle with a 47-yard scamper. Penny played 35 snaps on offense in the Seahawks' victory. Next week, the Seahawks will travel to Los Angeles to take on the Rams.

Safety Damontae Kazee (2013-16) started and was on the field for all 68 defensive and seven special teams snaps in Dallas' win over Washington. Kazee also made three tackles (two solo) in the game. The Cowboys will travel to New York to play the Giants on Sunday. Offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill (2013-16) started for San Francisco and played all 71 snaps on offense and five snaps on special teams in San Francisco's overtime win over Cincinnati. The 49ers head home to host Atlanta in Week 15. Offensive lineman Keith Ismael (2017-19) was on the field for 19 snaps on offense for Washington. He assisted on a tackle, the first of his career. Washington will go to Philadelphia for a divisional matchup in Week 15. Cornerback Darren Hall (2018-20) played for 51 defensive snaps and nine special teams snaps for Atlanta, recording four solo tackles with a pass breakup. Hall and the Falcons will go to San Francisco to face Brunskill and the 49ers. Fullback Nick Bawden (2014-17) saw action for 20 snaps on special teams for the New York Jets. They will play in Miami next Sunday. Linebacker Calvin Munson (2013-16) was on a bye week. New England will return for a Saturday matchup in Indianapolis in Week 15. Long snapper Aaron Brewer (2008-11) was activated off injured reserve by Arizona in time for their Monday night game against the Los Angeles Rams. He appeared for six snaps on special teams. Next week, they head to Detroit.

Tight end David Wells (2014-17) remains on injured reserve for Arizona. Offensive lineman Jacob Capra (2019-20) and tight end Kahale Warring (2016-18) are on the practice squad for Buffalo. Defensive lineman Alex Barrett (2013-16) and cornerback Luq Barcoo (2018-19) are on San Francisco's practice squad.

In the NBA, guard Malachi Flynn played in two wins in the last week for Toronto. Flynn averaged 7.5 points, 0.5 rebounds, 1.0 assist, and 1.0 steal. On Monday night against Sacramento, Flynn scored 14 points on 6 of 8 shooting from the field and 2 of 3 shooting from deep in just 14 minutes. On the season, he is averaging 3.1 points, 1.2 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.1 blocks. Forward Jalen McDaniels (2018-19) exited the health and safety protocols for Charlotte, but not in time to play in any games last week. So far this season, he has put together 5.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 0.4 steals, and 0.4 blocks per game. Forward Kawhi Leonard (2010-11) is on the Los Angeles Clippers, but is sitting out while recovering from a Torn ACL suffered during last season's playoffs. 

On the PGA Tour, Xander Schauffele (2013-15) is ranked fifth in the world.
