SAN DIEGO -- It was another productive week for former Aztecs in professional sports.

In the NFL, running back Rashaad Penny (2014-17) played for 11 snaps on offense in Sunday's win over Jacksonville. He rushed seven times for seven yards (1.0 YPC). After a bye, Seattle will travel to Green Bay to play the Packers. Offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill (2013-16) started and was on the field for all 56 snaps on offense and seven snaps on special teams. On Sunday, San Francisco will host Arizona. Safety Damontae Kazee (2013-16) drew the start and played 44 defensive snaps and a pair of special teams snaps on Sunday night. Kazee made two solo tackles. Next week, Dallas will take on Denver. Tight end Kahale Warring (2016-18) was elevated off Buffalo's practice squad for Sunday's game against Miami. He saw action for three snaps on offense. The Bills are in Jacksonville on Sunday. Cornerback Darren Hall (2018-20) played seven special teams snaps for Atlanta. Next week, the Falcons are in New Orleans. Long snapper Aaron Brewer (2008-11) played six snaps on special teams for Arizona. The Cardinals travel to Santa Clara to play Brunskill and the 49ers on Sunday. Offensive lineman Keith Ismael (2017-19), fullback Nick Bawden (2014-17), and tight end David Wells (2014-17) are on the practice squads for Washington, the New York Jets, and Arizona, respectively. On the other side of the ball, rookie safety Dwayne Johnson (2017-20), linebacker Calvin Munson (2013-16), defensive lineman Alex Barrett (2013-16) are the defensive players on practice squads, with Atlanta, Miami, and San Francisco.

In the NBA, guard Malachi Flynn (2020) played in three games for Toronto. He had a rebound on Saturday and made a three pointer with two assists on Monday. On the season, he is averaging 0.8 points, 0.5 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 0.3 steals. Forward Jalen McDaniels (2018-19) played in a pair of games for Charlotte, including a 16-point effort in Orlando on Wednesday. He averaged 9.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.5 blocks, and 1.0 steal. On the season, McDaniels is averaging 6.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.2 blocks, and 0.5 steals. Forward Kawhi Leonard (2010-11) is on the Los Angeles Clippers, but is currently rehabbing from a partially torn ACL suffered during last season's playoffs.

On the PGA Tour, J.J. Spaun (2009-12) tied for seventh in the Butterfield Bermuda Championship at 11-under-par. Xander Schauffele (2013-15) is ranked fifth in the world. Next weekend, Spaun and Scott Piercy (1999-2001) will compete in the World Wide Technology Championship in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
