ROLAND, Ark. -- The San Diego State men's golf team fired a 5-under-par 283 for the lowest third round Tuesday at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup at The Alotian Golf Club in Roland, Arkansas. Three of the five Aztecs shot under par on the par-72 course, which was playing its longest of the week so far at 7,450 yards.
SDSU, however, couldn't climb out of sixth place at 26-over 890 for the three rounds and will now face Alabama (+21) on Wednesday in match play for fifth-place.
