Aztec Softball Announces 2021 Fall Schedule

SAN DIEGO
-- The San Diego State softball team will play an eight-game fall schedule, highlighted by six home contests at SDSU Softball Stadium, head coach Stacey Nuveman Deniz announced Tuesday.
 
The Aztecs being their fall slate at USD Softball Complex across town on Friday, Oct. 15, first playing host San Diego at 3:30 p.m. PT and following with a 7:30 clash against Long Beach State.
 
SDSU then plays host to Mt. SAC and Cal State San Marcos for a doubleheader on Friday, Oct. 22, beginning at 4:15 p.m. PT.
 
Following a weekend off from competition, San Diego State welcomes Orange Coast College (3 p.m. PT) and Loyola Marymount (7:30 p.m. PT) on Friday, Nov. 5.
 
The Aztecs end their fall docket on Thursday, Nov. 11 with games against UC San Diego (11 a.m. PT) and Palomar College (4 p.m. PT).
 
SDSU's official spring slate will be announced in the coming weeks.  
 
Last year, San Diego State finished with a 28-16 record, its best winning percentage (.636) since the 2015 squad went 38-20 (.655) before falling in the NCAA Los Angeles Regional final to UCLA. It was also the ninth-best record in program history.
