Aztecs Release Fall 2021 Slate

SAN DIEGO – San Diego State women's tennis head coach Peter Mattera has announced the team's 2021 fall slate.
 
The Aztecs open their Fall 2021 season Sept. 24-26, as select members of the team head to Berkeley, Calif., to compete at California's Fall Invitational. 
 
The Scarlet and Black then host the San Diego State Fall Classic I Oct. 1-3 at Aztec Tennis Center.
 
Just three days later, senior Bunyawi Thamchaiwat travels to Charleston, S.C. to compete in the ITA Women's All-American Championships Oct. 6-10 in the tournament's main draw. Thamchaiwat recently earned a preseason No.9 ranking from the ITA,  the best preseason ranking in Aztec women's tennis history.
 
SDSU next competes in the ITA Southwest Regional Championships at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif. Oct. 21-25. The Scarlet and Black will cohost the annual event with the University of San Diego Toreros.
 
After the regional event, four members of the Aztecs will participate in the University of San Diego's San Diego Veterans Tennis Classic, scheduled for Nov. 5-7.
 
The Aztecs wrap up fall play hosting the San Diego State Fall Classic II, Nov. 12-14 at the Aztec Tennis Center.
