San Diego State was just five shots behind California in 10th place in the 13-team field. No. 13 USC posted a tournament-low 7-under 281 to claim the team title at 2-under 862. No. 31 UCLA slipped back to second at +3, while No. 44 Oregon State (+21), No. 20 Oregon (+22) and No. 10 Arizona State (+22) rounded out the top 5.

Sara Kjellker was the Aztecs' top finisher for the fourth time in five tournaments as she tied for 20th at 7-over 223. Kjellker recovered from a 7-over 79 in Tuesday's second round for a 1-under 71 today, her team-leading fifth under-par round of the season. A day after recording five bogeys and two double bogeys, Kjellker played all 18 holes without a bogey today. Starting on the par-3, 165-yard 15th hole for the shotgun start, she started out the day with nine pars before birdieing the par-4, 393-yard sixth hole. She then reeled off eight straight pars and signed for the 71. For the tournament, Kjellker tied for second with 39 pars and tied for fourth in par-4 scoring (4.00).

Bernice Olivarez Ilas tied for 29th at 10-over 226 following a 1-over 73 Wednesday. Starting from the par-5, 485-yard 16th hole, Ilas was 3-over after her first 11 holes. Ilas, however, sank consecutive birdies on the par-5, 491-yard ninth and the par-4, 385-yard 10th. After three straight pars, Ilas birdied the par-4, 367-yard 14th to get back to even-par but settled for a bogey on No. 15 to finish at 1-over 73.

Andrea Gomez, meanwhile, ended her round on fire with five consecutive birdies to match Kjellker for SDSU's lowest round of the day at 1-under 71. Starting on the par-5, 503-yard 18th hole, Gomez was 4-over through her first 13 holes, making one birdie (par-5, 487-yard fifth) with seven pars and five bogeys. She then reeled off five straight birdies to end her tournament, including the par-4, 390-yard 13th, No. 14, No. 15, No. 16 and the par-4, 336-yard 17th. The 71 matched the best round of her career for the freshman.
