SAN DIEGO – The Aztec men's soccer team (1-7-2, 1-7-2) fell to No. 19 Oregon State (9-4-0, 6-4-0) 4-0 Saturday afternoon on the SDSU Sports Deck in the season finale.

The Beavers scored three first half goals in the first 20 minutes, including one 37 seconds into the match, and outshot the Aztecs 18-9.

Aside from the early OSU goal, the Beavers recorded eight of the match's first nine shots.

The Beavers' second goal came in the 18th minute following a long pass from Adrian Crespo to Gloire Amanda.

Oregon State extended their lead to 3-0 about two minutes later when Tyrone Mondi scored from the end line, sneaking the ball inside the far post.

Amanda, who leads the nation in goals, scored the final goal as well, finishing a Sofiane Djeffal assist in the 80th minute.

The Aztecs' best chances came in the 48th and 77th minute on distance strikes from Blake Bowen and Hunter George that Beaver goalkeeper Roman Gabriel was able to corral.

Oregon State outcornered the Aztecs 7-0.

Aztec goalkeeper Tetsuya Kadono finished with three saves.

STAT OF THE MATCH
After 20 minutes, No. 19 Oregon State led 3-0 and had eight shots to SDSU's one.

THE NOTE
The Aztecs were shut out three times this season and two of those came against Oregon State.
