SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- Puwit Anupansuebsai fired a 1-under 69 and is tied for sixth to lead the San Diego State men's golf team on the first day of the 74th annual Western Intercollegiate presented by Topgolf Monday on the par-70, 6,615-yard Pasatiempo Golf Club.

He also had three bogeys.
