LAS VEGAS – Kim Villalobos was named to the Mountain West All-Freshman Team, the conference office announced Sunday morning.
Villalobos (Van Nuys, Calif.) averaged 7.4 points and 4.5 rebounds in conference play while leading the Aztecs in offensive rebounding (2.1 per game) and in free throws made and attempted.
Villalobos started seven conference games, averaging 19.7 minutes and scored in double-digits five times, including a career-high 16 points on 6-for-9 shooting in her first career Mountain West game (at Colorado State).
The Aztecs have placed three players on the Mountain West All-Freshman Team over the last three years (Sophia Ramos and Mallory Adams, 2018-19).
