SAN DIEGO -- Former Aztecs continue to produce in professional sports.

In the NBA, Kawhi Leonard (2010-11) played in three games last week for the Los Angeles Clippers. Leonard averaged 25.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 3.3 steals per game. The Clippers are the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference. Jalen McDaniels (2018-19) played four minutes in Charlotte's win over Houston last Wednesday, recording an assist. The Hornets are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. Malachi Flynn (2020), meanwhile, 2.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists across three games for the Toronto Raptors.

On the PGA Tour, Xander Schuaffele (2013-15) won once and tied twice, but lost in a sudden death playoff in his group at the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play in Austin, Texas. J.J. Spaun (2009-12) tied for 67th at 5-over-par at the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship in the Dominican Republic. Next weekend, Spaun will compete in the Valero Texas Open in San Antonio.
