COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Maya Brosch was named the Mountain West Track Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Brosch (South Lake Tahoe, Calif.) took first place in the 400m hurdles at the Aztec Invitational on Saturday, finishing with a personal best time of 58.74.

Her time gives her the top time in the Mountain West, the 16th-fastest in the nation and the ninth-fastest in school history.

Brosch also ran the first leg on SDSU's 4x400m relay team, which took fourth in a stacked field with a time of 3:42.83.
