SAN DIEGO -- It was another big week by former Aztecs in professional sports.

In the NBA, Kawhi Leonard (2010-11) played in three games for the Los Angeles Clippers last week. Leonard averaged 20.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.3 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game. The Clippers are currently the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference. Jalen McDaniels (2018-19), meanwhile, played in two games for Charlotte last week, averaging 6.0 points and 0.5 rebounds per game. The Hornets are the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference. Malachi Flynn (2020) returned to Toronto and played in three games for the Raptors last week, averaging 2.3 points, 0.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 0.3 steals per game.

On the PGA Tour, J.J. Spaun (2009-12) did not make the cut at The Honda Classic. This weekend, Xander Schauffele (2013-15) will compete in the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play in Austin, Texas, where he is the No. 6 seed in the bracket of 64 golfers.
