NORMAN, Okla. -- The San Diego State men's golf team is ranked 21st in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll, which was released by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Friday. The poll is voted on by 25 head coaches across the country.
 
The Aztecs, who were ninth in the last poll released on Feb. 12, received 147 points in today's poll. SDSU is just behind No. 19 Tennessee (154) and No. 20 Texas Tech (152). Trailing San Diego State in the top 25 is No. 22 North Texas (84), No. 23 Arkansas (70), No. 24 Arkansas State (64) and No. 25 New Mexico (48).
 
The Aztecs are also 20th in the latest Golfstat team rankings (as of March 2) and 23rd in the Golfweek/Sagarin team ratings (as of March 4).
 
SDSU won its first tournament of the season at the Southwestern Invitational from Jan. 25-27 and took ninth at The Prestige from Feb. 15-17.
 
San Diego State co-hosts the Lamkin San Diego Classic next week at the San Diego Country Club in Chula Vista, Calif.
