SAN DIEGO – The Aztec women's basketball team (5-10, 3-6) hosts New Mexico (7-2, 4-2) for a two-game series this week. SDSU will take on the Lobos Wednesday at 6 p.m. and Friday at noon. Both games will be streamed on the Mountain West Network.

Aztec Notes
• The Aztecs lost both of their games at Wyoming last week.
• The Lobos have only played nine games this year and have yet to play at home due to state regulations banning athletic contests.
• The Aztecs have won their last four meetings against the Lobos and six of their last seven.
• San Diego State and the Mountain West announced a revised schedule for the remainder of the regular season in order to make up previously postponed games. With the new schedule, the Aztecs will play six straight home games: New Mexico (Feb. 3 & 5), UNLV (Feb. 15 & 16) and Fresno State (Feb. 20 & 21) before traveling to Boise State for games on Feb. 26 and 28.
• The Aztecs are first in the conference in three-point field goal percentage defense (.279) and second in field goal percentage defense (.377) and in scoring defense (63.5).
• SDSU is committing just 14.0 personal fouls per game, the 14th-fewest in the nation.
• Mallory Adams had her top two scoring outputs of the season at Wyoming, scoring 12 and eight points. She enters the New Mexico series with exactly 500 career points.
• Freshmen Kamaria Gipson and Kim Villalobos each had three blocks in a game last week, the highest by an Aztec this season.
• Sophomore Isabela Hernandez currently has a career three-point percentage of 40.2 in 92 attempts. If she maintains that rate when she reaches 100 attempts (the minimum required), she will have the best career three-point percentage in program history.
• The Aztecs have had 11 different players score at least 10 points in a game and have had six different players lead the team (or tie for the lead) in scoring.
• Despite having four games canceled or postponed, the Aztecs are tied for the most games played (15) in the Mountain West.
• The Mountain West posted a .600 win percentage (27-18) in nonconference play in 2020-21. If the season were to end today, this would be the conference's best win percentage in non-conference action since the 2009-10 season (.622).
