SAN DIEGO - Running its record to 15-4 after a pair of blowout victories over San Jose State last week, San Diego State men's basketball made its return to the Associated Press Top 25 Poll, coming in at No. 25. The Aztecs garnered 75 points and are the only Mountain West team ranked in this week's poll.
Today's appearances in the AP poll, on Feb. 15, marks the third week, this season, San Diego State has been ranked in the AP poll and the first time since the week of Dec. 14, 2020.

San Diego State appears in the poll for the 84th time since the start of the 2010-11 season, easily outdistancing all other California schools in weeks being ranked in that time frame. UCLA has appeared in the poll for 47 weeks, Saint Mary's 39 weeks, USC 14, and California 11, since the start of the 2010-11 season.
San Diego State spent 15 weeks in the AP poll last year, the third most in a season for the program, trailing only the 2010-11 team, which was ranked for 19 weeks, and the 2013-14 team, which appeared in the poll for 16 weeks.
SDSU looks to extend its current six-game winning streak when it plays a pair of games at Fresno State this week. The series opens on Thursday, Feb. 18 with tipoff scheduled for 7 p.m. PT and wraps up on Saturday, Feb. 20, with a start time of 4:30 p.m. PT. Both games will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
