SAN DIEGO – San Diego State's swimming and diving team heads up the California coast this weekend when they take on the Pepperdine Waves Friday, Jan. 15 in Malibu, Calif. and the Cal Poly Mustangs Saturday, Jan. 16 in San Luis Obispo, Calif. Friday's meet begins at Noon at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool, while Saturday's action kicks off at 9:30 a.m.
 
The dual meets kick-off 2021 competition for the Aztecs, who last saw action in the pool on Dec. 10, 2020. The Scarlet and Black hosted the University of San Diego for a pentathlon, besting the Toreros 33-24.
 
Friday's bout with the Waves begins at Noon with the 1m springboard competition followed by the swim competition at 12:30 p.m. Saturday's action kicks off at 9:30 a.m with the day's swim events followed by diving competition at Noon.
