SAN DIEGO -- Former Aztecs continue to produce in professional sports. 

In the NFL, ironman offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill (2013-16) once again started at center and played all 56 snaps on offense for San Francisco in a 20-12 win over Arizona on Saturday. Defensive end Alex Barrett (2013-16), meanwhile, was on the field for 32 defensive snaps for San Francisco, making a tackle. On fourth down and the last chance for the Cardinals in the game, Barrett hit quarterback Kyler Murray, forcing an incomplete pass to clinch the game for the 49ers. San Francisco will stay in Arizona to finish their season against Seattle on Sunday. On the other sideline, long snapper Aaron Brewer (2008-11) saw action for six snaps on special teams for Arizona. The Cardinals will travel to Los Angeles for a Week 17 game against the Rams for a chance at a playoff spot.

Tight end Kahale Warring (2016-18) played eight snaps each on offense and special teams for Houston against Cincinnati. In the passing game, Warring was targeted three times, including once in the end zone, catching a pass for three yards. Houston will try to play spoiler on Sunday against Tennessee. Running back Rashaad Penny (2014-17) was on the field for four snaps on offense in Seattle's division-clinching win over the Rams. Penny rushed three times for nine yards (3.0 avg.). The Seahawks play San Francisco on Sunday. Linebacker Calvin Munson (2013-16) saw action for six defensive snaps and 18 special teams snaps in Miami's thrilling Saturday night victory over Las Vegas. The Dolphins hope to clinch a playoff spot with a win in Week 17 over the division champion Buffalo Bills. Center Keith Ismael (2017-19) played a trio of snaps on special teams for Washington on Sunday. The Football Team will win the NFC East division with a win over Philadelphia on Sunday night.

Cornerback Luq Barcoo (2018-19) did not play in Jacksonville's loss to Chicago in which they clinched the top pick in next year's draft. The Jaguars close out their season against an Indianapolis team that is still looking to win the AFC South. Safety Damontae Kazee (2013-16) and fullback Nick Bawden (2014-17) are on injured reserve for Atlanta and Detroit, respectively. 

In the NBA, Kawhi Leonard (2010-11) led the Los Angeles Clippers to a victory over the Denver Nuggets on Friday, but required stitches after being elbowed in the face by a teammate. Leonard scored 21 points, to go along with five rebounds, seven assists, four steals and a blocked shot before exiting with the injury. Malachi Flynn (2020) made his NBA debut on Wednesday night against New Orleans, logging a minute of action. Jalen McDaniels (2018-19) has made it into all three games for Charlotte, including a win over Brooklyn. McDaniels has averaged 1.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 0.3 steals per game.
